Dungeon Passageway
A long, gloomy stone corridor that leads from the narrow spiral staircase from the Viaduct Entrance, to the staircase leading down to the Slytherin Common Room. The Potions Classroom can also be found along this corridor.

Kitchens
Located directly under the Great Hall, the Kitchens contain tables identical to those in the Great Hall and directly below; food must simply be placed on the tables in the kitchens, before magically appearing in the Great Hall. The kitchens are staffed with over a hundred house elves. To gain access to the kitchens, one must tickle the pear on a fruit portrait, which then turns into a door knob.

Potions
A large room, which can easily seat twenty students to work, the Potions classroom is not one many would be fond of. The walls are lined with pickled animals in glass jars and potions that have been made from previous classes. In one corner of the room stands a basin into which ice-cold water pours from a gargoyle's mouth, while in another is a student supply cupboard. There is also a blackboard on which the Potions Professor can write the instructions. The room is especially cold, particularly in the Winter, when students are able to see their own breath.

Salazar's Secret
Keep your eyes peeled for the secret entrance to another one of Salazar Slytherin's discrete rooms. With an entrance half hidden by a portrait and blocked from view by a suit or armour, Salazar's Secret is a room that one would not be disappointed with. With view straight out into the Black Lake and stairs that go up to a higher vantage point to look over the Black Lake, the room is calming and relaxing. Unlike the person it was named after.

The Dungeons are an intricate labyrinth of passageways underneath the stone castle. Located alongside and under the lake, the Dungeons have an incessant cold chill to the air. Slytherins and Hufflepuffs may be more used to the temperature than their classmates, considering their common rooms reside here.
